Shockwave Player critical update available

OK, its time to update yet another Adobe product because of a "critical vulnerability". Your best course of action on this new Shockwave player bug is to uninstall the old version and then go to the Adobe.com Website to download the new version.

A vulnerability has been reported in Shockwave Player, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system. The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing Shockwave Player 10 content and can be exploited to corrupt memory via a specially crafted Adobe Director file. Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 11.5.0.600.
