Welcome to RootAid.com the personal and small business blog devoted to helping end-users fend off malware and otherwise protect their data. This site is the new web presence  for Clark Computer Consulting in Port Jervis, NY. There will be a focus on open source alternatives to commercial products and services. My extensive background in information technology includes but is not limited to 3 years of  UNIX/Linux support at a major fortune 500 company where I also supported all current versions of Windows.
